A large serrated knife that is great for slicing foods with thick crusts or rinds like artisan breads and melons/gourds. It also cuts through soft bread without crushing it.

- Ice tempered and hardened to Rockwell C56 - C58 degrees which holds the razor-sharp edge of the blade longer than any other steel.
- Ergonomic, stainless steel hygienic handles with signature dimple pattern offer a comfortable, slip-resistant grip.
Warranty
GLOBAL guarantees any stainless steel product that it sells to be free from defect in material, construction or workmanship under normal use and following the care instructions.
This excludes damage caused by misuse or accident. The warranty extends only to the product’s original purchaser. Chips in the knife blades, broken knife tips, dis-coloration from food and rust spots are not covered. Knife chips and broken knife tips can often be repaired by re-sharpening.

Classic 8.5" Bread Knife
After my husband and I both cut our fingers within a week with our old crappy bread knife, I got rid of it. I remembered going to a dinner party where a Global Classic knife was on the charcuterie board. I was so impressed with it that I promised myself that if I ever needed a new knife, it would be a Global. I'm so glad I had a good excuse to buy this sucker. It's great!

Classic 8.5" Bread Knife
Well balanced knife as evidenced when holding in my hand. Very sharp due to precision edge. Easily cuts through thick bread crust while not damaging tender inner crumb. Knife is also fairly lightweight so easy to use.
